LIFEBOOK FOR 2010

This was e-mailed to me and I would like to share...

LIFEBOOK  FOR 2010

Health:

1.  Drink plenty of water

2. Eat breakfast like a  king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a  beggar

Personality:

11.  Don't compare your life to others'.  You have no idea what their journey is all about.

14. Don't take yourself so seriously; no one else does

15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip

16. Dream more while you are awake

20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present

21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you

Life:

32.  Do the right things

33. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful

34. Your Innermost is always happy. So, be happy.

36. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up

37. The best is yet to come

38. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it

39. GOD heals everything

Last but not least:

40. Share this with everyone you care  about.

Happy New Year!

[]

Try everything twice. On ONE WOMAN'S tombstone
she said she wanted this epitaph: Tried everything
twice...loved it both times!
Keep only cheerful friends.  The grouches pull you down.
(keep  this in mind if you are one of those grouches;)

[]
Keep learning:
Learn more about the computer, crafts,
gardening, whatever. Never let the brain
get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop."
And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!
Enjoy the simple things.

[]
Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp
for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you
laugh, spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.

[]
The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move
on. The only person who is with us our entire
life, is ourselves.  LIVE while you are alive.
Surround yourself with what you love: Whether
it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants,
hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

[]
Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable,
improve it. If it is beyond what you can
improve, get help.
Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the
mall, even to the next county,  to a foreign
country, but NOT to where the guilt is.

[]
Tell the people you love that you love
 them, at every opportunity.

[]
Forgive now those who made you cry. You might
 not get a second time.

2010 - NEW YEAR'S AFFIRMATIONS

I had decided to post New Year's Resolutions to make myself accountable for them since when I make them I normally don't follow them all year and I don't make them every year.  Well, I had talked about this with my friend, Susi, and she said it would be better to put out Affirmations to the Universe.  And by God, (yes I said God on purpose and not in vain) she has a point.  If you have ever watched the DVD or read the Book "The Secret" or even read a book on Feng Shui, you would have to agree that this is the better thing to do.  So here are my 2010 Affirmations:

1.)  I will be Happy!
2.) I will be Healthy!
a.) I will exercise (I will take a Yoga class)
b.) I will eat healthier foods
c.) I will drink less carbonated drinks
d.) I will be more aware of things that make me healthier
3.) I will spend more time with Brandy taking her for walks at the Park!
4.) I will be orgnized.
5.) I will be successful with my Etsy shop.
a.) I will join the Etsy Full-Time Crafters Team!
6.) I will be successful with my handmade items that I make to sale.
a.) Things on consignment at Another Time Another Place
b.) Craft shows and other places I may go to sell my products
7.) I will exercise my creativity.
a.) I will learn more items to knit.
8.) My car will run perfectly!
9.) I will take more time to read.
10.) I will watch less tv - I'm actually already doing this right now!
11.) I will be a better friend to my true friends.
12.) I will get rid of the friends that aren't so true.
13.) I will meet lots of firemen! (This one if for my friend Susi!  She thinks I should make cookies and take them down to the local fire station and meet a fireman.)
14.) I will meet the "ONE"!
15.) I will get my house back to myself.
16.) I will be Wealthy!

Buena Suerte to everyone that does New Year's Resolutions and New Year's Affirmations!

Whew....Long Day

Just finished cleaning for the day.  Going through Books and magazines mostly and getting those put away.  I swear, if I didn't know any better I would easily say I had more books than the local book store.  I'm not really joking!  :-)

I want to eventually get my entire house cleaned and organized.  Being a crafter that is extremely hard for me.  Not to mention, my quaint little house used to be big enough just for me.  Now that I have two other people living with me, the house is packed to the gills with absolutely no room to grow.  I have nowhere to put anything.  I'm bringing in more than I'm sending out.  Which, I need to do something about that soon!

I may be getting rid of some craft supplies soon.  I want to do it now to give me something to do over the winter so I'm not completely sitting on my butt everyday.  That way when the weather gets nicer around Spring, I can go out and do more.  And I'll have a nice clean and organized home to come home to!

Anyone needing any craft supplies?  Give me a shout out.  I may have something that you want or need!

Up and playing on-line

Have you ever just had one of those nights where you couldn't find anything to do.  Believe me, I have lots to do but I can't find anything that I want to do.  I've been playing on-line most of the night.  I've been updating my Goodreads site and I've been trying to catch up on Facebook.  Facebook kicked me out.  I also got kicked off of Goodreads but was able to get back in.  Maybe tonight is the night that they do site maintenance, who knows.  Anyway, I have 713 books on Goodreads.  Do you think that I am going to read them all?  How long do you think it will take me to read them?  I keep adding new books.  I think I'm half crazy, okay..........all the way crazy................I do listen to a lot of books on CD at work.  Actually that's how I'm able to "read" 5 and 6 books a month.  Some books I listen to twice.  I just wanted to share that fact for anyone that is out there reading my blog.  Have a wonderful night!  I think I'm going to bed.
